Egyptian Visit
In our continued quest to source outstanding produce from new growers and producers around the world, Danny & Paul Murphy of Chefs Connection paid a flying visit to new suppliers in Egypt last month. They visited growers and packers on the banks of the Nile just outside Cairo .

The produce growing just now includes some outstanding small Mange Tout, Sugar Snaps & Fine Beans. The soil is remarkably fertile and all crops are grown naturally outdoors.

The facilities and pack houses were superbly operated, well managed and conformed the highest level of cleanliness with stringent health & hygiene practices in place.

We hope to start working with these new growers in due course once costs have been agreed and transport has been organised to get the produce to market rapidly and in optimum condition.
