Stuart was also the only angler to represent the UK in the World Pike Fishing Festival held in Swedish Lapland in both 2005 & 2006. Stuart grows his own produce on an allotment in Teddington including around 20 soft fruits varieties, 15 potato varieties and much more exotic & unusual produce from Physalis to Chatantais Melons.

Bought up in the countryside Stuart has the `Hunter Gatherer Gene` running through his blood. Relaxing time at the weekends is often spent with the family foraging for wild foods and scouring the countryside or beaches for delicacies such as edible fungus, razor clams, seaweed, wild berries, fruits and nuts... Many of which are then cooked on location!
